Next week I am on my way to visit THE wardrobe. My first stop en route will be Indianapolis where I will be speaking to the Central Indiana C. S. Lewis Society about Lewis' relationship with Sister Penelope and The Community of St Mary the Virgin in Wantage, England. That event will take place on Monday, November 1, 7-9 pm, at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, 34th & Central in Indianapolis.
Then on Friday, November 5, at 3:30 pm, I will be giving a lecture at Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois, on the Spiritual Themes in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. That event will take place in the Phelps Room of the Beamer Student Center, lower level, south end. Wheaton College is located at 501 College Avenue, Wheaton, Illinois.
Finally, I will arrive at the wardrobe on Saturday, November 6, at 11:15 am. I will be offering a talk to children and youth, and most likely a reading from The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, while sitting right next to the wardrobe in the museum of The Marion E. Wade Center at Wheaton College. The Wade Center is located at 351 E. Lincoln Avenue in Wheaton. For more information visit: http://www.wheaton.edu/wadecenter/news/news.html.
At all of these events I will be signing copies of The Hidden Story of Narnia.
